Did he come away covered in soot and ashes? Is he walking already? Mine were always late walkers. I can't believe you are coming up on 1 year. Time sure does fly when there are babies around.

Oh, but it IS, Angela! I have *no idea* how he got that big or where the time went, lol! He'll be 11 months tomorrow.
Kimberly, he did get pretty dirty, though that big wall thing kept him from actually wallowing in the ashes. He poked around in the cold fire pit with that stick for a long time. :o)
He *is* walking now. (!!!) When this pic was taken a couple of weeks ago, he was only taking a step here and there, but this week he has decided that walking is how he wants to get around. He's walking more than half the time now and getting better and faster by the day!
